Our sunscreen is made with natural organic ingredients. This sunscreen was strategically made to be protective, beneficial and pro active against sunburn..
Ingredients: Avocado oil, Shea butter, Beeswax, Non-nano zinc oxide, Red Raspberry seed oil, essential oil for scent.
Here is some evidence based information on each ingredient and how beneficial they are:
Avocado Oil:
*Multiple studies have reported that avocado extract may relieve pain in those with hip and knee osteoarthritis.
*Avocado is high in fatty acids and antioxidants that promote wound healing and overall skin health. Some studies have shown that applying a cream containing avocado oil (20%) and vitamin B12 led to significant improvements in psoriasis symptoms
Shea Butter:
*Typically, you can find Shea butter in lotions for people with dry skin. Shea butter contains fatty acids. They lubricate the skin and create a barrier that keeps moisture in.
