Grow your own medicine!
Â
There are so many plants that offer health benefits and offer relief for so many ailments.
Â
Smell/taste: Naturally sweet flavor with a bitter finish, often compared to anise and tarragon.
Â
Helps with: Yarrow is considered a medicinal wonder. Yarrow has been used for centuries as a natural remedy for various ailments, including fever, colds, flu, digestive issues, and menstrual cramps. It is also a natural astringent and can be used topically to help stop bleeding and promote wound healing.
When yarrow is used topically, it has been used to stop bleeding of wounds and cuts; as a poultice for burns and open sores; used to cure fevers and colds; and alleviates toothaches.
Yarrow is added to our first aide salve for this reason!
Â
